2017 Event

March 10-11, 2017

What an amazing 2-day event this year! Our feedback forms from last year’s event said it needed to be longer, so that’s what we did! We added a kick-off event on Friday, March 10, 2017 featuring Emmanual Itier’s documentary Femme: Women Healing the World. What a powerful film and the perfect way to kick off this empowering weekend. Victoria Trabosh was the sponsor for this fantastic event.

Our Saturday event, held in Gaiser Hall at Clark College was a huge success. Wonderful speakers, great takeaways, swag bags chock full of goodies, fabulous plant-based eats, incredible vendors with collectibles galore, coffee, cupcakes (!), scrumptious connections with great people, empowerment, smiles, tears, just a moving day all around.

We’re happy to have Michelle Bart with NWCAVE as our non-profit partner with all the proceeds funding their cause of informing, educating and preventing violence and exploitation against women and children nationally and internationally. We’re proud to carry on the powerful (and very necessary!) tradition of empowering and celebrating women during Women’s History Month. (See History below.)

Each year, we ask the community to nominate a Pebble Rebel and each year’s winner is the following year’s

recipient of net proceeds from our Women’s Festival. Michelle Bart with NWCAVE was the 2016 winner of this award! The Women’s Festival Pacific Northwest is proud to recognize and honor women who are making a positive difference in their community by awarding the Pebble Rebel Award.
