Central Park — The National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation received a $6,300 donation during the International Women’s Festival from the festival’s Pacific Northwest organizers.

The coalition received the net proceeds from the festival, which was held March 10-11 at Clark College, where more than 300 people celebrated International Women’s Day and No More Week, which aims to make domestic violence and sexual assault awareness and prevention a priority year-round.

During the festival, guests also watched a screening of “Femme: Women Healing the World,” a film by Sharon Stone and Emmanuel Itier that celebrates women around the world working to heal and transform society.
